On the 16th, an inauguration ceremony announcing the official launch of the Korea Trot Producers Association was successfully held at the Glad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul.

A large number of association members attended the event to share in the occasion, including Association President Si Seung-woong, Vice President Woo Sang-bae, and Executive Director Shin Min-soo. In addition, singers Jin-seong, Kim Yong-im, Han Hye-jin, and Seo Jio attended to add luster to the ceremony.

The organization, formed by some 50 representatives and planners of major domestic trot production companies joining forces, was established to promote the healthy development and create a sustainable industry ecosystem for trot music, which has firmly established itself as a core genre in the Korean music industry.
