Singer Park Hyun-bin reveals his first trip alone with his two children, Ha-jun and Ha-yeon.

On the May 17 episode of Channel A's 'Today with Dad,' airing at 8 p.m., the Park Hyun-bin family embarks on a two-day, one-night trip to Geumdangsil Traditional Village in Yecheon, Gyeongbuk Province.

Park shares that after suffering serious injuries in a four-car pileup in the past and enduring a long hospital stay, he came to feel the preciousness of time with family all the more deeply. Although the family of four usually traveled together, this time he takes on the challenge of creating special memories on a trip with just ten-year-old Ha-jun and eight-year-old Ha-yeon, without his wife.

On the road, Ha-jun expresses his excitement, saying, "I was really happy when Dad said we'd go on a two-day, one-night trip." Meanwhile, Ha-yeon shows a contrasting reaction, saying, "I think I'll be scared because it's an old house."

However, upon arriving at the hanok accommodation, Ha-yeon's worries quickly vanish. She immerses herself in the hammock and tuho (traditional dart-throwing game) in the spacious yard, plays with a cat, and even holds a contest to see who can spit a seabuckthorn seed the farthest, showing off her characteristic energy.

While walking along a stone wall path, the siblings discover a fruit wrapped in packaging and make a series of innocent guesses: "Is it a strawberry?" and "Isn't it a flower?" Later, upon learning that the fruit is actually an apple, the two join in a rural farming experience of thinning apple fruit directly in the village headman's orchard.

The family also participates in a program exploring various corners of Geumdangsil Traditional Village alongside other families. They go on a treasure hunt to gather ingredients for wild vegetable sandwiches and take time to draw and create one-of-a-kind kites.

However, the ambitiously launched kite-flying turns out to be not so easy, as expected. The kites fail to soar high into the sky and instead just spin around on the ground, and the children grow tired of repeatedly running while holding kites rather than actually flying them. Recalling his own childhood memories, Park Hyun-bin steps up to fly a kite himself, attempting to restore his pride as a father in front of his kids.

Meanwhile, the siblings' distinct charms, both resembling Park Hyun-bin, also draw attention. Ha-jun shows his dependable older brother side by looking after his younger sibling first and yielding to her, while Ha-yeon adds vitality to the trip with her adorable expressions and boundless curiosity.

Park Hyun-bin and his children Ha-jun and Ha-yeon's event-filled Yecheon travelogue can be seen on Channel A's 'Today with Dad' on the 17th at 8 p.m.
