■ Various Gold Investment Methods and Risks Gold investment currently offers a highly diverse range of methods. Investors have a wide array of options depending on their preferences, including direct purchase of physical assets such as gold bars and gold coins, installment-based investment through bank gold banking accounts, real-time tradable gold ETFs in the stock market, and investments in gold mining company stocks.

However, recent changes in global monetary policy and the emergence of profit-taking sell-offs have driven international gold prices below the $4,000-per-ounce mark, indicating that a sharp price correction is underway and requiring a cautious approach.

In particular, during periods of heightened volatility, even derivative products or financial investment products that are easy to access with small amounts can result in short-term losses larger than expected depending on market conditions. Therefore, experts point out that investors should carefully adjust their portfolio allocations in consideration of their personal investment tendencies and capital recovery periods.
