The group ILLIT has set another meaningful record on the global music platform Spotify.

According to the latest Spotify data, ILLIT's first single album title track 'NOT CUTE ANYMORE' has surpassed 200 million cumulative streams. Released on November 24 of last year, the track achieved a total of 200,029,852 plays in approximately eight months. After quickly surpassing 100 million streams in just 73 days following its release, the song went on to add another 100 million streams over the following five months, demonstrating its sustained popularity.

With this, ILLIT now holds their second song to surpass 200 million streams, following their debut track 'Magnetic.' Previously, 'Magnetic' surpassed 800 million streams on Spotify in approximately two years and one month. In addition, ILLIT has showcased their staying power with a total of seven songs surpassing 100 million streams, including 'NOT CUTE ANYMORE,' 'Lucky Girl Syndrome,' 'Cherish (My Love),' 'Tick-Tack,' 'Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance),' and 'jellyous.'

A pop genre track infused with reggae rhythms, 'NOT CUTE ANYMORE' captures the honest feelings of not wanting to be seen as just cute. It garnered significant attention for its minimalist sound, vocals delivered as if speaking directly to someone, and a performance that blends restrained movements with diverse facial expressions. In particular, thanks to its addictive beat and polished melody, the song was used as the background music for the 'Hood Grab Shot Challenge,' leading the short-form video trend worldwide. Riding this global popularity, the track climbed to No. 7 on the U.S. Billboard 'Bubbling Under Hot 100' chart.

Meanwhile, ILLIT is preparing to release their second single album 'I Got Your Back' in Japan. The title track is a rock genre song that conveys feelings for a friend who stays by one's side amid anxiety and pressure. The new song's digital release is set for the 26th, with the physical album scheduled for release on the 29th.
