Boy group 8TURN has returned with a new single album. 8TURN released their new single '[8.X]' at 6 PM on the 21st through various online music platforms.

This single '[8.X]' is a work that captures 8TURN's new transformation and challenge of breaking out of set frameworks and venturing into uncharted territory. By combining 'Dot,' signifying the conclusion of the previous chapter, with 'X,' representing uncharted territory, they have completed their own unique narrative.

The title track 'Stagefright' is an R&B pop genre song that blends dynamic rhythms with a refined top line. Members Yoonkyu, Jaeyun, and Myungho directly participated in writing the lyrics, expressing the growing fear within deepening love through the complex emotions of an artist on stage.

The b-side track '8PM' is also an R&B dance song with lyrics co-written by Jaeyun and Yoonkyu. It creates a dreamy atmosphere reminiscent of the intersection between the heat of midday and the coolness of dusk. The previously released music video teaser compellingly portrayed the narrative of overcoming fear and heading toward a new world through gritty black-and-white visuals and powerful group choreography. Through this album, 8TURN has further expanded their musical spectrum and performance boundaries.

Meanwhile, 8TURN, who has made their comeback, will continue active global promotions in the second half of the year. In September, they will hold their solo tour '2026 8TURN 2ND WORLD TOUR [8TURN TRACE],' visiting eight European cities including Germany, Finland, France, and the United Kingdom, and in October, they will expand their reach with an Americas tour.
