LNC Bio (290650) plunged during trading on the 20th, triggering a Volatility Control Arrangement (VI).

According to the Korea Exchange, a static VI was triggered for LNC Bio at 10:44:16 a.m. that day. As of 10:46 a.m., the stock was trading at 62,700 won, down 8,300 won (11.69%) from the previous trading day. After losing the 70,000-won level during the session and falling to the 60,000-won range, short-term volatility expanded sharply.

At the same time, the KOSDAQ index was down 4.53% at 755.90. As foreign selling continued, overall market investor sentiment was contracting, with declines widening across individual stocks.

Key variables for the future short-term stock price trend include changes in trading volume and supply-demand dynamics after the VI is lifted, as well as whether the stock can recover the 70,000-won level.
