Jang Yong-hoon and Park Won-bin of Starship Entertainment's rookie boy group IDID will take the mound as the ceremonial first pitcher and batter for a professional baseball game.
Jang Yong-hoon and Park Won-bin will attend the KBO League game between the LG Twins and NC Dinos, scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul, where they will perform the victory-wishing ceremonial first pitch and at-bat.
Taking on the ceremonial first pitch and at-bat for the first time since their debut, the two are drawing fans' anticipation thanks to a special connection. Previously, the two appeared together as high school baseball players in 'ImPerfect Game,' a youth baseball drama and pre-debut project content, making this visit to the baseball stadium expected to deliver special memories for fans.
IDID's leader Jang Yong-hoon, who is handling the first pitch, expressed that it is an honor to throw the first pitch at an LG Twins game he has dreamed of, and actively cheered for the players' safety and victory. Member Park Won-bin, who will step up as the ceremonial batter, also draws attention by revealing that he is a former 'Lg-kid' who has been a fan of the LG Twins since childhood. Park Won-bin stated that it is deeply meaningful to participate as the ceremonial batter and shared his hope to bring the energy of victory to the game.
Meanwhile, the seven-member boy group IDID, who debuted last year, achieved remarkable success by winning first place on a music show just 12 days after their debut. They have since swept the Rookie of the Year and Hot Trend awards at various ceremonies, and are currently continuing their active promotions with 'FLY!' and the follow-up track 'Attent!on' from their single album 'FLY!'
