KBS 2TV's new weekend drama 'Love Is Coming' will premiere on July 25, 2026, at 7:55 PM. The series is co-produced by Monster Union and Content Z, with Director Hong Seok-goo and writer Lee Kyung-hee teaming up.
'Love Is Coming' centers on the wounds and healing processes experienced by a family, depicting the story of a man and a woman who gather the fragments of a broken family to build a warm place in life.
Director Hong Seok-goo stated that the work goes beyond a simple romance, containing stories of family, wounds, and recovery. In particular, he highlighted as a key viewing point the transformation of characters who initially conflict but gradually come to understand each other and change through love. To achieve this, he communicated closely with the cast and conducted multiple script readings to meticulously refine the emotional arcs of the characters.
Additionally, Director Hong expressed deep trust in the cast, praising the high character synchronization rate of each actor, including Ha Seok-jin's grounded yet delicate acting, Ahn Hee-yeon's ability to brilliantly express the emotional changes of her character, and the supporting cast — including Park Yoo-na, Bae Jung-nam, Kwon Hae-hyo, and Yoon Yoo-sun — who elevate the drama's level of completion with their distinct personalities and energy.
The atmosphere on set is also at its best. On the filming set, actors and staff continuously share opinions in a considerate environment, generating great ideas that enrich each scene.
Finally, Director Hong Seok-goo shared his warm aspirations, saying, "'Love Is Coming' is a drama that gives you a reason to live again," and adding, "I want to deliver a heartfelt message of comfort — that anyone who is hurt and shaken by love can ultimately move forward through understanding, forgiveness, and love."
