Mezion (140410) is showing a strong upward trend alongside the triggering of the Volatility Interruption (VI) during trading hours.

According to the Korea Exchange (KRX) on the 21st, a static VI for Mezion was triggered at 11:10:05 a.m. and lifted at 11:12:13 a.m. Even after the VI was lifted, the upward trend continued, and as of 11:36 a.m., the stock was trading at 53,600 won, up 2,100 won (4.08%) from the previous trading day.

On the same day, coinciding with the surge in stock price, a disclosure drew investors' attention. Mezion announced through its 'Report on Ownership of Specific Securities by Executives and Major Shareholders' that CEO Park Dong-hyun had additionally acquired shares through an on-exchange purchase.

According to the disclosure, CEO Park purchased 1,231 common shares during trading hours on the 21st. As a result, the number of shares held increased from the previous 1,850,983 to 1,852,214, with the average acquisition price tallied at 50,229 won. However, during the same period, the total number of issued shares increased from 30,392,167 to 30,605,994, causing the stake ratio to decrease by 0.04 percentage points from 6.09% to 6.05%.

Attention is now focused on whether Mezion's upward trend will continue into the afternoon session.
