According to the Korea Gold Exchange on July 21, the buying price of silver (3.75g) was recorded at 11,120 won, and the selling price at 9,440 won. Compared to the previous day, the buying price rose by 30 won (0.27%) and the selling price also increased by 20 won (0.21%). As of now, the international silver price is trading around $56.80 per ounce on the New York Mercantile Exchange (COMEX).

That same night, U.S. stock markets saw all three major indices show strength early in the session but lost their gains to close lower. On July 20 (local time), the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at 51,839.26, down 0.59% from the previous trading day; the Nasdaq Composite fell 0.05% to 25,508.07; and the S&P 500 declined 0.19% to 7,443.28.

Silver has the characteristics of a safe-haven asset linked to gold, while also being a key industrial metal widely used across sectors including solar panels, electric vehicles, semiconductors, and electronic components.
