SK Hynix has officially denied recent rumors regarding the acquisition of Intel's semiconductor fab in Ohio, United States.

In a regulatory filing on the 22nd addressing rumors and media reports, SK Hynix stated, "We are continually reviewing various investment and acquisition opportunities as part of our business," but clarified, "There is no truth to the claim that we are pursuing or have decided to acquire Intel's Ohio site and fab."

Through this filing, the company explicitly confirmed that the acquisition-related rumors circulating in the market and reports by some media outlets are untrue.
