Rookie actor Yushin is taking on the home theater market with the teen romance short-form drama 'I Am the Real Chaebol Third Generation!'

Yushin has been cast as Baek Do-hyun, the 'emperor' of Hwimyeong International High School, in 'I Am the Real Chaebol Third Generation!', which is provided and produced by KT Studio Genie and Lilshort, and co-produced by Take One Studio and Sky Plus.

Set against the backdrop of Hwimyeong International High School, where the power of prestigious families reigns, 'I Am the Real Chaebol Third Generation!' is a teen romance about a fierce power game in which Hae-in (played by Kim Bo-ra), the true heiress hiding her identity, and Si-eun (played by Solbin), a fake heiress who has taken her place, risk everything — their dreams, love, and all — for a recommendation letter to the world's most prestigious university.

In the drama, Baek Do-hyun, played by Yushin, holds the undisputed position of 'emperor' at Hwimyeong International High School. With innate talent and overwhelming charisma, he becomes an object of admiration, but rather than wielding power, he maintains balance through his very existence. He is characterized by a cool-headed charm — not gentle, yet not arrogant. In particular, he becomes intrigued while observing Hae-in, who displays novel and curious behavior unseen in those around him, and gradually begins to develop new feelings. Yushin plans to portray the delicate psychological changes hidden beneath his cold exterior to heighten the drama's immersion.

Yushin, who debuted in the 2024 film 'Loop' as Hyosang, has honed his acting skills by appearing in multiple works including the dramas 'My Partner is the Devil' and 'Lies, Where Are the Vampires?' In the ENA variety show 'THE SCOUT: Reborn Stars,' he active as a growth-type character who improved with each episode, ultimately finishing in second place. Recently, he took on the role of Hyeong-o, a high school student with lower-body paralysis, in the Lezhin Snack short-form drama 'Save Us,' and is currently receiving positive reviews from viewers for his portrayal of murder suspect Nam Woo-min in 'Snake and Ladder.'

Meanwhile, 'I Am the Real Chaebol Third Generation!' starring Yushin will be released on the 23rd at 4:00 PM through Lilshort.
