[Breaking] Kolon Surges Over 8% as VI Triggered... Kolon TissueGene Hits Lower Limit for 3rd Straight Day in 'Sharp Divergence'
CBC News

The stock price movements of Kolon and its affiliate Kolon TissueGene are sharply diverging. While Kolon showed strength as a Volatility Interruption (VI) was triggered during the session, Kolon TissueGene recorded a lower limit for three consecutive trading days, with investor sentiment significantly contracted.

According to the Korea Exchange (KRX) on the 23rd, Kolon's static VI was triggered at 9:38:11 a.m. and lifted at 9:40:13 a.m. As of 10:03 a.m., Kolon is trading at 26,075 won, up 1,975 won (8.20%) from the previous trading day, attracting investors' attention.

On the other hand, Kolon TissueGene has been facing a recent surge in selling pressure, hitting the lower limit again today for its third consecutive day of decline. With a stark contrast emerging among stocks within the group, the market is closely watching when Kolon TissueGene's sharp decline will stabilize.

Analysts note that the VI trigger signals an expansion of short-term volatility, suggesting that investors need to review related disclosures and changes in supply and demand.
