Lee Minhyuk of the group BTOB has unveiled the visualizer teaser video for his new song 'KO,' signaling an intense transformation.
His agency, BTOB Company, recently pre-released the visualizer teaser for 'KO,' a track from Lee Minhyuk's single album 'TEMPERATURE,' through its official social media channels.
The released teaser video maximizes industrial sensibilities with black-and-white imagery and a gritty texture. Lee Minhyuk paired a sleeveless innerwear with a beanie and cargo pants, revealing a solid physique reminiscent of a martial arts fighter. Additionally, elements symbolizing a fighting ring—such as a square chain-link fence, chains, and top lighting—were used to build tension. Flying sand effects, dynamic movements, and an intense gaze were added, and the video concludes by capturing attention with a chrome metal-textured 'KO' graphic logo.
This visualizer is connected to the narrative universe established in the spoiler video Lee Minhyuk released prior to his comeback, which featured fighting gloves, hand wraps, and headgear. The new song 'KO' is an industrial hip-hop genre that combines the explosiveness of rock with the heavy groove of hip-hop. It was inspired by the surname 'Ko' of UFC fighter Go Seokhyun and the boxing term 'K.O. (Knockout).' It is also noteworthy that Lee Minhyuk directly participated in writing the lyrics and composing the music, elevating the musical quality of the track.
Meanwhile, Lee Minhyuk's single album 'TEMPERATURE' was released on the 15th, and the full visualizer video for 'KO' is scheduled to be unveiled on the upcoming 23rd.
