In episode 7 of Lifetime's weekend drama 'Empathy Cell,' a rift develops in the relationship between Kim Myung-soo and Kang Min-ah, marking a major shift in their heartbreaking romance.

Once, Cha Eun-hwan (Kim Myung-soo) and Yu Ji-an (Kang Min-ah) spent sweet times together like any ordinary couple, going on dates and sharing kisses. However, a crisis strikes their relationship when Yu Ji-an becomes entangled in an unsavory incident on a filming set. After the incident, Cha Eun-hwan looks at her with worried eyes, but Yu Ji-an responds coldly and distances herself.

Burdened by growing guilt over a past accident, Cha Eun-hwan decides to leave her side on his own before she learns the truth. Fearing that even Yu Ji-an would suffer from guilt as he does, he says things contrary to his true feelings. He coldly pushes away the desperately clinging Yu Ji-an, telling her, "Being together is a penalty."

However, Yu Ji-an, who possesses the ability of 'emotion transfer,' already knew all of Cha Eun-hwan's true feelings. Despite this, she is unable to hold on to him and ultimately sheds tears, and the deepened tender love between the two evokes sympathy from viewers.

Meanwhile, this project was led by 'A+E Korea' in production investment and global distribution, with distribution to Japan and other Asian regions already completed. A+E Korea is currently pursuing a business model that encompasses the entire process from early investment in new IP to overseas distribution and licensing, aimed at expanding the reach of Korean content abroad.

Episode 7 of 'Empathy Cell,' which foretells a crossing of emotions, will air on Saturday the 25th at 10:50 PM on Lifetime. It will also be available on U+tv Mobile and Disney+ at midnight on the 26th.
