Choi Sung-hoon of the K-crossover group La Poem visited Italy and had a meaningful meeting with the world-renowned classical crossover group Il Volo.

Recently, Choi Sung-hoon attended the 'Il Volo World Tour 2026-2027' concert held at Villa d'Este in Cernobbio, Italy, and met with the members of Il Volo in person. At this meeting, Choi Sung-hoon gifted La Poem's album 'ALIVE,' and the Il Volo members showed great interest in the album's design and jacket photos. Additionally, Il Volo revealed that they had previously encountered La Poem's music and music videos, offering positive feedback.

Il Volo is a top-tier classical crossover vocal group with a massive global fanbase spanning Europe, North America, South America, and Asia. Several of their albums have received Gold and Platinum certifications in Italy, the United States, and Latin America, and they have demonstrated their staying power by topping the U.S. Billboard Classical Albums chart on multiple occasions.

Meanwhile, La Poem proved their presence on the global stage by becoming the first Korean singer to reach the Top 4 on the Spanish audition program 'Got Talent España 2026.' Member Choi Sung-hoon is actively pursuing his career not only through group activities but also as a solo artist. He successfully concluded his sold-out solo recital 'Avec' held at the IBK Chamber Hall of the Seoul Arts Center.

In particular, Choi Sung-hoon continues his prolific musical journey. His major releases include his first mini album 'SCENE#1' in 2020, first single album 'THE WAR' in 2022, second mini album 'The Alchemist' and creative art song album 'Si·詩·POEM' in 2023, second single album 'MIRROR' in 2024, and third mini album 'ALIVE' in 2026.
