As of 10:59 a.m. on the 23rd, strong buying is flowing into domestic nuclear power-related stocks, showing overall strength as investor sentiment improves amid a joint rise in the KOSPI and KOSDAQ.

On this day, risk appetite revived in the domestic stock market, with both major indices posting gains in the 2% range. At the same time, the KOSPI stood at 6,974.13 (up 2.59%) and the KOSDAQ at 767.38 (up 2.16%), continuing their upward trend.

Doosan Enerbility, a leading nuclear power stock, defended the 70,000-won level, rising 2.31% from the previous trading day to 70,800 won. Other major large-cap stocks also showed gains, including Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) (35,250 won, +3.98%), Korea Electric Power Corp. Engineering & Construction (KEPCO E&C) (93,600 won, +3.53%), and Korea Electric Power Corp. Plant Service & Engineering (KEPCO KPS) (45,850 won, +5.04%).

The gains among mid- and small-cap nuclear power theme stocks also stand out. Woori Technology recorded the highest increase among major stocks, surging 6.61% to 10,640 won. In addition, Sudo Electric (+2.43%), Woojin (+2.61%), Geumhwa PSC (+0.47%), Orbitech (+4.06%), and Woojin Entec (+4.09%) all joined in the upward rally.

Some in the market suggest that future momentum and the trajectory of the domestic stock market should continue to be closely monitored.
