According to the Korea Gold Exchange on July 23, the trading price of silver (Silver, 3.75g) was recorded at 11,710 won for buying and 9,890 won for selling. The buying price rose by 40 won (0.34%) compared to the previous day, and the selling price also increased by 30 won (0.3%), showing a combined upward trend.

International silver prices are also continuing their upward trend. As of now, the international silver price based on SI at the New York Mercantile Exchange is exceeding $60 per ounce. The consecutive rally that has continued since the 17th has led to a breakthrough above the $60 mark.

Silver is widely used across industries including solar energy, semiconductors, electric vehicles, and electronics, making it highly sensitive to the global economy and corporate capital investment trends. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor both the U.S. stock market and movements in related industry stocks.

On the previous day (July 22, local time), the U.S. New York stock market closed uniformly lower due to the impact of a surge in international oil prices. The Dow Jones fell 6.06 points (0.01%) to 52,218.58, the S&P 500 dropped 10.24 points (0.14%) to 7,498.96, and the Nasdaq Composite Index declined 146.30 points (0.57%) to finish at 25,690.90.
