DongguK CM announced on the 24th through its preliminary earnings disclosure that, on a separate (non-consolidated) basis, it recorded KRW 545.127 billion in revenue and KRW 21.114 billion in operating profit for the second quarter (April–June) of 2026.
Revenue for the second quarter of this year increased 8.6% year-on-year and 10.26% quarter-on-quarter. In particular, the company turned to an operating profit from an operating loss of KRW 14.984 billion in the same period last year, drawing attention. During the same period, profit from continuing operations before income tax reached KRW 19.026 billion and net income stood at KRW 14.606 billion, both swinging back to black year-on-year. Compared to the previous quarter, profit from continuing operations rose 42.99% and net income increased 41.13%, demonstrating clear earnings improvement.
Cumulative performance for the first half of the year also showed strong results. First-half revenue amounted to KRW 1.039511 trillion, with operating profit reaching KRW 32.282 billion. Cumulative operating profit increased significantly compared to KRW 8 million in the first half of last year. Additionally, first-half profit from continuing operations before income tax (KRW 32.332 billion) and net income (KRW 24.955 billion) also turned profitable from a deficit in the same period a year earlier.
Meanwhile, the company explained that these preliminary earnings were prepared based on separate financial statements under the Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS), and that some details may be subject to change following the results of the external auditor's audit.
