Doosan Enerbility (034020) had recently reclaimed the '70,000 Enerbility' level, sustaining a rebound trend, but turned lower on this day due to a sharp market decline, entering a brief consolidation phase.

In the regular trading session on the 24th, Doosan Enerbility closed at 72,100 won, down 1.50% (1,100 won) from the previous trading day. This marks the first correction after posting gains for three consecutive trading days from the 21st to the 23rd, reclaiming the 70,000-won range.

The decline on this day is interpreted as the result of profit-taking sell orders emerging, compounded by shrinking investor sentiment due to heightened geopolitical tensions between the United States and Iran.

On the same day, the KOSPI closed at 6,690.62, plunging 406.27 points (-5.72%) from the previous trading day. Concerns over surging international oil prices and expanding volatility in global financial markets added to broad-based selling pressure that weighed on the market.

The key focus going forward is whether Doosan Enerbility can regain upward momentum after this short-term correction. The possibility of expanded volatility driven by external variables also cannot be ruled out.
