The subscription rate for Hanwha Solutions' shareholder-allocated rights offering has surpassed 100%, driven by strong participation from existing shareholders.
According to a regulatory filing on the 24th, the rights offering targeted 53 million registered common shares of Hanwha Solutions. Subscriptions were accepted from the employee stock ownership association and existing shareholders (holders of subscription warrants) from July 22 to 23, with total subscribed shares reaching 54,418,541, exceeding the initially planned number of shares to be issued. The final subscription rate recorded 102.68%.
Breaking down the subscription details, the employee stock ownership association subscribed to 9,839,590 shares, while warrant subscriptions reached 38,430,497 shares. Additionally, 6,148,454 shares were subscribed through oversubscription. The oversubscription allocation rate was calculated at 76.92849291%.
In this process, the remaining 51,792 odd-lot shares that were not allocated will be offered to general investors through a public offering. Public offering subscriptions will take place over two days, from July 27 to 28.
The company stated that if any remaining shares exist after the close of the public offering, lead managers including Korea Investment & Securities, NH Investment & Securities, KB Securities, and Daishin Securities plan to directly underwrite them on their own accounts in accordance with their underwriting obligations.
