Hyundai Rotem announced on the 24th through its consolidated (preliminary) earnings disclosure that it recorded KRW 1.6061 trillion in revenue and KRW 232.4 billion in operating profit for the second quarter of 2026.

Revenue for this quarter increased 10.2% compared to the previous quarter (KRW 1.4575 trillion) and 13.3% compared to the same period last year (KRW 1.4176 trillion). Meanwhile, operating profit rose 3.7% from the previous quarter (KRW 224.2 billion) but fell 9.7% short of the same period last year (KRW 257.6 billion).

Revenue grew significantly by 18.1% compared to the same period last year, while operating profit saw a slight decline of 0.8%. During the same period, profit from continuing operations before income tax expense (KRW 526.2 billion) increased 15.9%, net income (KRW 388.9 billion) rose 12.2%, and net income attributable to owners of the parent company (KRW 386.7 billion) climbed 10.8%.

The company stated, "These earnings are preliminary consolidated figures prepared in accordance with the Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS), and may be subject to partial changes following the external auditor's review."
