In the 8th episode of E Channel and Channel S travel variety show "Going to the End! Monologue Tour," comedians Kim Dae-hee, Kim Jun-ho, Jang Dong-min, Yoo Se-yoon, and Hong In-gyu joined Yang Sang-guk for local experiences in Nha Trang, Vietnam.
On the first day, the cast visited a seafood restaurant near Tran Phu Beach and enjoyed various fresh seafood including crayfish, grouper sashimi, and live shrimp sashimi while playing a roulette game to determine who would pay for the meal. As a result, Hong In-gyu covered the meal cost of 480,000 won. After the meal, they moved to the accommodation booked by Yoo Se-yoon, where they relaxed with pool activities and dyed their gray hair.
The next morning, they headed to a pho restaurant recommended by Yang Sang-guk. During the meal, Yoo Se-yoon reflected on his past experience of nearly quitting his career as a comedian and his friendship with Jang Dong-min, while Kim Jun-ho drew laughter with a joke that "if Jang Dong-min had quit comedy, he would have run a ox head soup restaurant." Yang Sang-guk recorded the lowest score in that meal's payment game.
Afterward, the members enjoyed watching Kim Dae-hee and Yang Sang-guk, who received a makeup penalty, transform into "Vietnam fools" at a cafe. They then visited a local traditional market called Dam Market to buy fruit, and Kim Dae-hee paid the entire market cost after losing a fruit-peeling game. During the ao dai shopping process, Kim Dae-hee sang a bargaining song and purchased six outfits for 110,000 won, and the cast performed a skit with the concept of "couples on a package tour" while dressed in ao dais.
At the recommendation of Kim Jun-ho, the members visited a restaurant specializing in banh can, a popular Vietnamese snack, and played a mini bowling game to decide who would pay. The team of Jang Dong-min and Yoo Se-yoon came in last, and while tasting banh can, they recalled the egg bread they used to eat in Yeouido in the past.
At this gathering, Yang Sang-guk mentioned his experience of appearing on KBS's "Morning Yard" with his parents and revealed, "That was the first time I truly felt a sense of success." He shared, "My parents were very happy to receive greetings from fans who had seen the broadcast." He also revealed his wish to hold a wedding at a broadcasting station after seeing Hong In-gyu's broadcasting station wedding. When Kim Dae-hee asked about his marriage plans, Yang Sang-guk said, "I don't have anyone to marry yet," and made a joke directed at Hong In-gyu, turning the set into a sea of laughter.
Regarding marriage, Jang Dong-min offered advice, saying, "Unlike the excitement of dating, marriage requires looking at the future," and "I decided to get married thinking about someone who would become the mother of my child." In response, Yang Sang-guk added that seeing his senior colleagues who have started families makes him want to get married soon as well.
"Going to the End! Monologue Tour" airs every Saturday at 9 PM.
