In episode 7 of the KBS 2TV Saturday-Sunday miniseries 'The Completion of Marriage,' a tension-filled scene unfolded in which Kang Tae-ju (played by Namgoong Min) identified his father-in-law, hospital director Go Dong-chan (played by Jang Gwang), as the mastermind behind the kidnapping of his wife, Go Se-yoon (played by Lee Seol).

In this episode, Kang Tae-ju engaged in a fierce physical struggle with Noh Man-hee (played by Kim Daemyung) and rescued the kidnapped Go Se-yoon. However, he was placed under arrest by the police who arrived at the scene. The police applied charges including kidnapping, instigation of murder, theft, and impersonation of a public official against Kang Tae-ju. At that moment, Go Se-yoon strongly asserted his innocence, saying, "This person is not the culprit. The real criminals were a couple. This person came to save me," but Kang Tae-ju was ultimately taken into custody.

Meanwhile, Noh Man-hee, who returned home after evading police pursuit, had a tearful farewell with his wife, Kim Kyung-ae (played by Lee Sang-hee), who was in a state of lower body paralysis. Kim Kyung-ae pleaded with Noh Man-hee, "Don't get caught and come back for me again." A bloodied Noh Man-hee replied, "I'll come get you soon," evoking deep sympathy from viewers.

Afterward, Kang Tae-ju, who was at the scene with the police, discovered the severely injured Kim Kyung-ae. Kang Tae-ju warned, "If she doesn't receive surgery immediately, she will face permanent lower body paralysis, and in a worse case, she could die." Kim Kyung-ae and Go Se-yoon were urgently transported to Woori Together Hospital, but hospital director Go Dong-chan firmly refused to operate on Kim Kyung-ae, expressing his outrage in front of the police.

In response, Kang Tae-ju declared his intention to perform the surgery himself to uncover the truth, and Go Se-yoon also pleaded with her father to allow the operation. Just before the surgery, Go Dong-chan made a cryptic remark, saying, "Even if something unexpected happens in the operating room, it wouldn't be the doctor's fault, would it?"

Kang Tae-ju addressed Kim Kyung-ae, saying, "I'll be performing your surgery. Don't worry, I'm a doctor." He then revealed his suppressed anger, asking, "But considering what you did to my wife, haven't you already given up being human?" Midway through the surgery, a crisis arose due to hemorrhaging, but Kang Tae-ju successfully completed the operation.

However, after the surgery, it was revealed that 3 billion won taken from Go Dong-chan had disappeared, leaving Kang Tae-ju flustered. He was transferred to the police station and continued to be interrogated. He asserted his innocence, saying it was "something only a person truly trying to save his wife could do," but he was ultimately placed in a holding cell.

At the end of the broadcast, a scene showed Noh Man-hee attacking a stranger while on the run, along with a shocking scene in which Kang Tae-ju stopped Ha Jung-soo (played by Jeon Kwang-jin) from attempting to kill Kim Kyung-ae. Kang Tae-ju asked Ha Jung-soo, "Why would a woman who was once your patient kidnap my wife?" He then directly pointed to the mastermind behind the kidnapping, asking, "Who is the person behind you? Is it Hospital Director Go Dong-chan?" heightening curiosity about the conclusion to its peak.

Viewers who watched the episode responded enthusiastically to the final scene and Namgoong Min's immersive acting, leaving comments such as "I got total goosebumps," "I was completely drawn in when he was torn between a desire for revenge and his sense of duty as a doctor in the operating room," and "This was no simple kidnapping plot."
