Danal (064260) surged early in the trading session on the 27th, triggering the Volatility Control Mechanism (VI).

According to the Korea Exchange (KRX), a static VI was triggered for Danal at 10:10:55 a.m. that day and was lifted approximately two minutes later at 10:13:16 a.m. The VI is a system that applies single-price trading for a certain period to protect investors and stabilize the market when an individual stock's price sharply rises or falls in a short period of time.

As buying pressure poured in from the start of the session, the stock price rapidly soared, and as the price fluctuation range expanded within a short period, the exchange activated the static VI.

As of 10:24 a.m. on the same day, Danal is trading at 4,995 won, up 635 won (14.56%) from the previous trading day. During the session, it reached 5,040 won, breaking the 5,000 won threshold.

Even after the VI was lifted, the strong momentum has continued around the 5,000 won level. It recorded an intraday high of 5,040 won, showing a clear improvement in investor sentiment.

However, as there is a possibility of increased volatility due to the short-term surge, investors are advised to approach with caution.
