Doosan Fuel Cell (336260) showed a sharp decline in early trading on the 27th, triggering the Volatility Interruption (VI) mechanism twice in succession.

According to the Korea Exchange (KRX), the first static VI was triggered at 9:04:59 a.m. that day and was lifted at 9:07:26 a.m. Subsequently, as stock price volatility showed no signs of subsiding, a second static VI was additionally triggered at 9:30:54 a.m. and was released at 9:33:11 a.m.

As of 9:38 a.m., Doosan Fuel Cell is trading at 33,450 won, down 9,350 won (21.85%) from the previous trading day. Following a rush of selling pressure in early trading, the stock price was pushed down to the early 30,000-won range at one point.

VI is a system that applies single-price trading for a certain period to protect investors and stabilize the market when an individual stock price surges or plunges within a short period of time.

Even after the two VIs were lifted, selling pressure has persisted and the stock has maintained a steep decline, drawing market attention. Going forward, trading volume and supply-demand changes are expected to be key variables that will determine the short-term stock price trend.
