Hanwha Ocean recorded strong performance in the second quarter of 2026, surpassing 1 trillion won in cumulative operating profit for the first half of the year.

According to Hanwha Ocean on the 27th, the preliminary consolidated performance for the second quarter of 2026 recorded revenue of 5.4432 trillion won and operating profit of 736.1 billion won. Operating profit surged 98.0% year-over-year and 66.9% quarter-over-quarter. Revenue during the same period also increased 65.2% year-over-year and 69.6% quarter-over-quarter.

Second-quarter profit before income tax from continuing operations stood at 668.6 billion won, up 343.7% year-over-year and 32.0% quarter-over-quarter. Net income and net income attributable to owners of the parent company each reached 692.6 billion won. These figures represent a surge of 366.4% and 366.7% year-over-year, respectively, and a 38.5% increase quarter-over-quarter.

[First-Half Cumulative Performance Summary] On a cumulative basis for the first half of this year, the company posted revenue of 8.6531 trillion won and operating profit of 1.1772 trillion won. Compared to the same period last year, revenue increased 34.4% and operating profit rose 86.8%.

Additionally, cumulative first-half profit before income tax from continuing operations reached 1.175 trillion won, up 219.4% year-over-year. Cumulative net income and net income attributable to owners of the parent company each totaled 1.1926 trillion won, representing a 227.5% surge year-over-year.
