In early trading on the 27th, a Volatility Interruption (VI) was triggered as SK Enix (475150) showed a sharp decline.

According to the Korea Exchange (KRX), a 'static VI' was activated for SK Enix at 9:12:29 a.m. VI is a system that applies single-price trading for a certain period of time to protect investors and stabilize the market when the stock price of an individual security changes rapidly in a short period of time.

As of 9:13 a.m., SK Enix is trading at 71,600 won, down 9,300 won (11.50%) from the previous trading day. As selling pressure intensified from the start of the session, the stock price was pushed down to the low 70,000-won range.

Previously, SK Enix had maintained a strong upward trend, driven by expectations for renewable energy policies and its business growth potential. However, on this day, profit-taking sell orders emerged and investor sentiment contracted, leading to widened stock price volatility.

The market is now focusing on changes in supply and demand following the lifting of the VI.
