Park Jiwon, a member of the group fromis_9, is taking her first steps as a musical actress through the musical 'Hell's Kitchen.'

Park Jiwon will take the stage in the role of the protagonist Ali in the musical 'Hell's Kitchen,' which opens on the 28th at GS Art Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

'Hell's Kitchen' is set in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan, New York, in the 1990s. It was created drawing inspiration from the life and music of American singer-songwriter Alicia Keys, and portrays the coming-of-age story of a girl who finds her own voice through music.

In the show, Ali, played by Park Jiwon, is a curious and free-spirited girl living alone with her mother, a character who finds her true place through music. Park Jiwon plans to complete the character by adding her signature bright energy and delicate emotional depth.

According to her agency Ascend, Park Jiwon shared her thoughts, saying, "I'm nervous about standing on a musical stage for the first time since my debut, but I'm even more excited. I've worked hard to prepare so that I can sincerely convey Ali's story to the audience."

Meanwhile, Park Jiwon, who recently showcased her talents with fromis_9's second full-length album 'Glow Me,' is expected to further expand her scope of activities as an artist through this musical debut.

The musical 'Hell's Kitchen' will run at GS Art Center until November 8.
