Domestic nuclear power-related stocks closed mixed on the 27th's regular session, showing divergent movements across individual stocks. With a differentiated market trend of mixed gains and losses continuing into the previous day as well, investors' attention is focused on which direction nuclear power stocks will take in the 28th session.

Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) was the strongest among nuclear power-related stocks. It closed at 36,450 won, up 2.9% from the previous trading day. Woori Technology also maintained the 10,000-won level stably, closing at 10,130 won, up 1.0%. Mobis closed near the upper flat line with a 0.9% gain.

On the other hand, Doosan Enerbility finished at 71,400 won, down 0.9%, but defended the 70,000-won level. KEPCO Engineering & Construction closed at 97,900 won, down 1.2%, and KEPCO KPS finished at 46,750 won, down 0.7%. Other stocks including Wujin (-0.6%), Wujin Entec (-0.6%), Geumhwa PSC (-0.4%), Susan Industry (-0.2%), Orbitech (-1.9%), and Daechang Solution (-3.4%) also failed to escape weakness.

Market analysts note that short-term stock-specific differentiated trends are continuing based on factors such as earnings announcements, new orders, policy issues, and investment sentiment. Meanwhile, international oil prices are showing weakness on expectations of eased U.S.-Iran tensions, somewhat alleviating uncertainty in the global energy market. However, the New York Stock Exchange recorded a mixed session overnight due to weakness in semiconductor stocks.

Accordingly, market attention is focused on whether domestic nuclear power-related stocks will rebound in the 28th session based on improved investment sentiment, or continue their stock-specific differentiated trends.
