Hanwha Systems disclosed its preliminary consolidated earnings for the second quarter of 2026 on the 28th. Operating profit surged 218.83% year-over-year to KRW 103.67 billion from KRW 32.516 billion in the same period last year, and increased 202.39% from the previous quarter's KRW 34.284 billion.

■ Q2 Revenue and Profit Improve Across the Board Q2 revenue stood at KRW 1.117552 trillion, up 38.47% from the previous quarter (KRW 807.099 billion) and 45.48% from the same period last year (KRW 768.191 billion). Profit from continuing operations before income tax expense was KRW 54.385 billion, turning to a profit from the previous quarter's loss of KRW 115.702 billion, but down 29.79% compared to the same period last year (KRW 77.455 billion).

Net income was KRW 52.743 billion, swinging from a loss of KRW 95.752 billion in the previous quarter to a profit, and rising 13.73% from the same period last year (KRW 46.376 billion). Net income attributable to owners of the parent company was KRW 67.082 billion, turning profitable from a deficit in the previous quarter and increasing 65.53% year-over-year.

■ First Half Cumulative: Revenue and Operating Profit Increase, Net Income in Deficit Cumulative revenue for the first half was KRW 1.924651 trillion, up 31.98% year-over-year, while cumulative operating profit rose 108.55% to KRW 137.954 billion. However, cumulative net income was -KRW 4.309 billion and cumulative profit from continuing operations before income tax expense was -KRW 6.1316 billion, both swinging to a deficit year-over-year. Nevertheless, cumulative net income attributable to owners of the parent company recorded a profit of KRW 1.2103 billion.

Hanwha Systems stated that these earnings are preliminary consolidated figures prepared in accordance with the Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS) and may be subject to change based on the results of the external auditor's accounting audit. These results will be presented to investors through an investor relations (IR) session on July 28.
