Ko Young recorded a significant improvement in performance in its preliminary consolidated results for the second quarter of 2026. Revenue increased substantially, operating profit expanded approximately 5.8 times year-over-year, and net income turned to a surplus.
According to a regulatory filing on the 28th, Ko Young's second-quarter consolidated revenue stood at KRW 88.759 billion, up 22.0% from the previous quarter (KRW 72.734 billion) and up 70.4% from the same period last year (KRW 52.09 billion).
Operating profit for the same period was KRW 14.553 billion, surging 47.7% quarter-over-quarter and 479.1% year-over-year. Profit before income tax from continuing operations was KRW 20.482 billion, up 0.3% from the previous quarter, returning to a profit from a loss of KRW 6.84 billion in the same period last year.
Net income for the period was KRW 15.724 billion, up 0.3% from the previous quarter, turning to a profit from a loss of KRW 4.704 billion in the same period last year. Net income attributable to owners of the parent company was also KRW 15.724 billion, turning to a profit year-over-year.
On a cumulative first-half basis, the company recorded revenue of KRW 161.493 billion (up 56.5% year-over-year) and operating profit of KRW 24.405 billion (up 328.1%). Cumulative net income for the period and net income attributable to owners of the parent company each reached KRW 31.403 billion, reversing from a deficit in the first half of last year to a surplus.
The company stated that these results are preliminary consolidated figures based on Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS) and represent internally settled data that has not been reviewed by an external auditor, meaning they may differ from the finalized results.
