Young K of the group DAY6 has made a comeback with the release of his second solo full album, 'YOUNGEST,' in approximately 2 years and 10 months.

This album is characterized by incorporating the English suffix '-est,' meaning 'the highest degree,' to contain the most Young K-esque music and story. Young K personally participated in writing and composing the lyrics, completing an album consisting of a total of 15 tracks.

The title track, 'Shut The Door,' stands out with its synth-pop-based fast tempo and punchy sound. The lyrics capture an honest heart, comforting himself by saying that things will be okay, and it has been receiving passionate responses from listeners since its release.

In fact, 'Shut The Door' topped the Bugs real-time chart and ranked high on the Melon Top 100. Notably, all 15 tracks from the album entered the Melon Top 100, and the album claimed the top spot on the Hanteo Chart's real-time album chart, achieving meaningful results.

On the day of the album's release, Young K hosted a YouTube live stream called 'The YOUNGEST Night Show' to communicate with fans. In addition, he celebrated the comeback with various promotions, including a Seoul busking live performance and a themed truck event.

Meanwhile, Young K will kick off his solo tour 'YOUNGEST' at Inspire Arena in Incheon from August 14 to 16. After that, he will continue his global tour, heading to Bangkok, Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, and other locations.
