On the 29th, Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) disclosed its preliminary consolidated results for the second quarter of 2026. Revenue for the quarter reached KRW 1.1679 trillion, with operating profit recorded at KRW 48.4 billion.

Key Performance Indicators (Q2 basis): • Revenue: KRW 1.1679 trillion (up 6.9% from KRW 1.0927 trillion in the previous quarter, up 41.0% from KRW 828.3 billion year-on-year) • Operating Profit: KRW 48.4 billion (down 27.9% from KRW 67.1 billion in the previous quarter, down 43.1% from KRW 85.2 billion year-on-year) • Net Income: KRW 37.0 billion (down 10.4% from the previous quarter, down 35.2% year-on-year)

Cumulative results for the first half (January–June) showed revenue of KRW 2.2606 trillion, a sharp increase of 48.0% compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, cumulative operating profit stood at KRW 115.6 billion, representing a 12.4% decrease.

Looking at detailed profit and loss indicators, profit before income tax from continuing operations in the second quarter was KRW 24.8 billion, down 53.2% from the previous quarter and 64.1% year-on-year. Net income attributable to controlling shareholders also fell to KRW 35.9 billion, down 14.6% from the previous quarter and 36.4% year-on-year.

KAI stated that these figures are preliminary consolidated results prepared in accordance with the Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS). As the external auditor's accounting audit has not yet been completed, certain details may be subject to change during the audit process. The company plans to post the earnings release materials on its website following the disclosure.
