Krafton announced on the 29th that it recorded KRW 1.2902 trillion in revenue and KRW 410.9 billion in operating profit on a consolidated basis in its preliminary Q2 2026 results.
Q2 Revenue and Operating Profit Show 'Explosive Growth' Year-over-Year Q2 revenue fell 5.9% compared to the previous quarter (KRW 1.3714 trillion) but surged 94.9% year-over-year (from KRW 662 billion). Operating profit also decreased 26.8% from the previous quarter (KRW 561.6 billion) but rose 67.0% compared to the same period last year (KRW 246 billion).
On a cumulative basis for the first half of the year (January–June), the company achieved KRW 2.6616 trillion in revenue and KRW 972.5 billion in operating profit, up 73.3% and 38.3% respectively year-over-year, continuing a strong performance trend.
Net Profit Swings to KRW 29.9 Billion Loss... Profitability Declines However, net profit, one of the profitability indicators, declined. Q2 profit before income tax from continuing operations stood at KRW 94.2 billion, down 86.9% from the previous quarter but up 294.2% year-over-year.
In particular, Q2 net profit recorded a loss of KRW 29.9 billion, swinging to a deficit compared to both the previous quarter (KRW 514.1 billion profit) and the same period last year (KRW 15.5 billion profit). Net profit attributable to owners of the parent company also swung to a loss of KRW 27.4 billion from the previous quarter and the same period last year.
Earnings Presentation Scheduled for 4 PM Today Meanwhile, Krafton is scheduled to hold its Q2 and first-half 2026 earnings presentation at 4 PM today, targeting domestic and international investors, analysts, and media outlets.
The company added that these results are preliminary consolidated figures based on Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS) and are subject to change following the external auditor's review.
