LG Uplus is moving forward with the construction of Phase 2 of its Paju AI Data Center (AIDC) to address growing customer demand.

LG Uplus announced on the 29th that it held a board of directors meeting and approved new capital investment for the construction of Phase 2 of the Paju AIDC. Regarding the purpose of this investment, the company stated, "New construction of AIDC in response to increasing customer demand."

■ Key Investment Overview • Investment Amount: 1.3489 trillion won (1,348,900,000,000 won) • Investment Period: From August 1, 2026, to November 30, 2028 • Ratio to Equity Capital: 14.88% (based on consolidated equity capital of 9.067527776055 trillion won as of the end of 2025)

The company explained that this investment amount represents the "approved limit." This was set at approximately 130% of the projected investment amount, taking into account factors such as price fluctuations and exchange rate movements. Additionally, the company noted that the actual investment amount may fluctuate in accordance with changes in the business environment during execution, and that the investment period end date is also tentative and may be revised depending on future investment progress.

Meanwhile, the board resolution for this capital investment was made on July 29, 2026, with all four outside directors in attendance.
