Girl group IRION joined the recent dialect craze, showcasing their talents on an entertainment show.

In the fifth episode of IRION's own variety show 'IRION: Real-World Debut,' comedian Yang Sang-guk appeared as a Gyeongsang Province dialect instructor and conducted a practical lesson with members Choi Aeni (played by Hwang Jia) and Aisa. In the video, the two members surprised Yang Sang-guk by attempting clumsy dialect phrases such as "Have you eaten?" and "Hey! Are you confident in your dialect?"

During the subsequent quiz segment, Aisa, a member from Mexico, created an unexpected situation. When given the dialect word "kkalbatno" (meaning lazy), she answered with a mix of Spanish: "¿Qué el bat no?", turning the set into a sea of laughter. Yang Sang-guk made a perplexed face, saying, "This is a bit difficult today."

Choi Aeni also made her presence known. In a segment where famous lines from the drama 'Goblin' were transformed into dialect, she delivered a performance switching between Jeolla and Gyeongsang dialects with the expression "It was dazzling~". The two members also flawlessly imitated Yang Sang-guk's catchphrase "Shall I spank your butt?", showing off their dialect skills.

After completing the lesson, Yang Sang-guk praised their enthusiasm, saying, "Aeni has a talent for handling dialect tones, and even though Aisa doesn't know Korean well, her characteristic Gyeongsang accent is still alive."

Meanwhile, IRION is a group formed through the MBC Plus drama 'My Idol, My Debut.'
