Sosan Industry announced on the 29th that it has signed a modified contract with Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power for the "Secondary Side Electromechanical Equipment Maintenance for Shin-Kori Units 1 and 2."

Order Volume Increases by 34.5 Billion KRW

With this modification, the total order amount increased by 34,531,551,782 won from the existing 35,533,300,000 won to 70,064,851,782 won. The ratio to the company's most recent consolidated revenue (324,740,172,778 won based on fiscal year 2023) also expanded from the previous 10.94% to 21.58%.

Construction Period Extended by One Year

The contract end date was extended by one year from the previous July 31, 2026 to July 31, 2027. The total contract period runs from August 1, 2024 to July 31, 2027.

Contract Terms

The construction will be carried out at the Kori Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power. There is no separate down payment or advance payment, and the payment will be made according to progress-based billing conditions. The company stated that value-added tax is included in the contract amount, and that the contract amount and period may be subject to change depending on future construction progress.
