KBS 2TV's Saturday-Sunday miniseries 'The Perfect Marriage' is currently airing to great popularity. It has risen to No. 1 on Disney+'s 'Today's Top 10 Series in Korea,' and its 8th episode recorded a peak viewership rating of 9.2% per minute according to Nielsen Korea, renewing its own all-time high.

In the 8th episode, Kang Tae-ju (played by Namkoong Min) was seen tracking down the secrets of his father-in-law, Go Dong-chan (played by Jang Kwang), in connection with the kidnapping of his wife, Go Se-yoon (played by Lee Seol). During this process, a shocking development unfolded on air as the body of Ha Jung-soo (played by Jeon Kwang-jin), who had attempted to murder the kidnapper Kim Kyung-ae (played by Lee Sang-hee), was discovered.

In the preview for the 9th episode, Kang Tae-ju is shown receiving a mysterious phone call and finding himself in an extreme situation. Dragging his wounded body, he collapses onto an alleyway floor, and his frozen expression and bewildered demeanor maximized the tension.

'The Perfect Marriage' has been receiving positive reviews for the acting skills of its cast, including Namkoong Min, Kim Dae-myung, Lee Seol, and Lee Sang-hee, as well as its fast-paced plot and continuous twists. In particular, Namkoong Min has vividly portrayed the character of Kang Tae-ju, who becomes engulfed in mystery following his wife's kidnapping. His delicate emotional acting—gripping a phone with a battered body, his wary expression, his startled eyes—has heightened viewer immersion episode by episode.

Regarding the 9th episode, the production team stated, 'An intense process will unfold in which Kang Tae-ju fully opens Pandora's box,' adding, 'Please watch to see whether he can uncover the truth behind his wife Go Se-yoon's kidnapping.'
