KBS2's flagship variety show 'The Return of Superman' has proven its enduring strength as the nation's beloved parenting program. The show received a Presidential Commendation in commemoration of the 14th Population Day. Since its first broadcast in 2013, the program has been loved by viewers for 13 consecutive years and recently solidified its strong position by being selected as the most influential observational variety show at the '2026 Brand Customer Loyalty Awards.'

Alongside this monumental achievement, episode 631, airing on Wednesday the 29th at 8:30 PM, will feature heartwarming scenes of actor Shim Hyung-tak and his 18-month-old daughter Haru going on an outing to welcome the summer.

On this day, Haru showcases a diverse mukbang, from sweet and sour plums to a watermelon bigger than her face, and even kalguksu (knife-cut noodles). First, Haru is surprised by the sweet and tangy taste of the plum, and the scene of her opening her eyes wide and gripping the plum captures viewers' attention. This is followed by laughter as she energetically digs into the red flesh of a watermelon—even bigger than her face—grabbing it tightly with both hands.

Additionally, a scene of Haru skillfully using a fork and spoon to eat kalguksu noodles is revealed. Watching this, Shim Hyung-tak says with a proud smile, 'Haru eats kalguksu well too.'

Also appearing in this broadcast is Gwak Beom, a father of two daughters aged 13 and 12, who joins to meet Haru. Gwak Beom confidently states that he is sure he can get along well with babies, but contrary to expectations, a scene shows him cautiously observing Haru from behind a tree, promising another round of laughter.

Haru's upgraded mukbang skills and her unexpected first encounter with Gwak Beom can be seen on this week's episode of 'The Return of Superman.' The program airs every Wednesday at 8:30 PM on KBS2.
