Alteogen had drawn attention on the 15th through a securities firm report. In its report that day, Hana Securities assessed that Samsung Bioepis' technology is merely a biosimilar replicating U.S. firm Halozyme's SC platform 'ENHANZE,' and concluded that it would have no significant impact on Alteogen's technological competitiveness.

Previously, there were concerns in the market that Alteogen's competitiveness would weaken as Samsung Bioepis secured subcutaneous injection formulation technology, but Hana Securities dismissed these concerns. The analysis emphasized that the key ultimately lies in Alteogen's proprietary technological capabilities.

Hana Securities stated, "Alteogen's ALT-B4 can deliver more antibodies per unit compared to Halozyme's ENHANZE and has strengths in storage stability, enabling product differentiation." It added, "Another advantage is that even if products applying ENHANZE biosimilars are launched, partner companies can exclusively secure differentiated product competitiveness as long as the substance patent for ALT-B4 is maintained."

However, the market response has not been favorable. Despite the positive assessment on the 15th, the stock price has shown a lackluster trend. At a time when fundamentals and stock price movements are diverging, it is necessary to closely monitor market trends.
