Hanwha Vision recorded preliminary consolidated revenue of 542.3 billion won and an operating profit of 65.6 billion won for the second quarter of 2026.
According to a regulatory filing on the 30th, Hanwha Vision's consolidated revenue for Q2 2026 was tallied at 542.289 billion won, with an operating profit of 65.578 billion won. These figures represent sharp increases of 22.86% in revenue and 196.83% in operating profit compared to the previous quarter (revenue of 441.378 billion won and operating profit of 22.093 billion won). Compared to the same period last year, revenue rose 18.62% and operating profit increased 11.60%, marking solid performance.
Overall profitability also improved significantly. Profit before income tax from continuing operations stood at 101.493 billion won, swinging to a profit from both the previous quarter (-32.579 billion won) and the same period last year (-14.943 billion won). Additionally, net income (75.295 billion won) and net profit attributable to owners of the parent company (75.282 billion won) successfully turned to profit compared to both the previous quarter and the same period last year.
On a cumulative first-half basis, revenue reached 983.667 billion won, up 8.22% from the same period last year. Meanwhile, cumulative operating profit amounted to 87.672 billion won, down 18.98% year-on-year. However, cumulative profit before income tax from continuing operations (68.914 billion won), net income (61.247 billion won), and net profit attributable to owners of the parent company (61.347 billion won) all swung from a loss in the same period last year to a profit.
Meanwhile, the company stated that these results are preliminary consolidated figures prepared in accordance with Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS) and have not yet been subjected to external audit, meaning they may be subject to change during the audit process.
