Yuhan Corporation delivered a strong performance in its preliminary standalone results for the second quarter of 2026, achieving revenue of KRW 614 billion and operating profit of KRW 61.4 billion. According to Yuhan Corporation on the 30th, this Q2 performance represents a 10.4% increase in revenue and a 34.7% increase in operating profit compared to the same period last year. Notably, compared to the previous quarter, revenue surged 20.5% and operating profit soared 595.8%. Profit from continuing operations before income tax expense stood at KRW 64.8 billion, up 38.3% year-over-year and 57.2% quarter-over-quarter. Net income for the period reached KRW 47.6 billion, increasing 22.1% from the same period last year and 27.5% from the previous quarter. Strong results were also posted on a cumulative standalone basis for the first half of the year, with revenue of KRW 1.1237 trillion and operating profit of KRW 70.3 billion. Cumulative revenue rose 9.6% year-over-year, while cumulative operating profit increased 29.5%. Additionally, cumulative profit from continuing operations before income tax expense was KRW 106 billion, up 17.4% from the same period last year, and cumulative net income stood at KRW 85 billion, up 8.5%. On the same day, the company also released its semi-annual preliminary consolidated results alongside its standalone preliminary figures. On a consolidated basis, cumulative revenue for the first half totaled KRW 1.1662 trillion, with operating profit of KRW 75.7 billion and net income of KRW 91.4 billion. Yuhan Corporation noted that these figures are preliminary standalone results prepared in accordance with the Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS) and have not been reviewed by an external auditor, meaning they may be subject to change during the review process.
