SoCar will invest 10 billion KRW in its autonomous driving service-dedicated subsidiary, APEX Mobility Inc. The investment aims to secure initial operating funds needed to fully launch the phased commercialization of its services in 2026.

In a regulatory filing on the 30th, SoCar announced that its 100% subsidiary, APEX Mobility, has decided to conduct a third-party allotment capital increase worth 10 billion KRW. This falls under the category of a major management matter for a subsidiary.

■ Details of the Issuance

Through this capital increase, APEX Mobility will issue 10,000 common shares at 1 million KRW per share to raise a total of 10 billion KRW. All new shares will be allotted to its parent company, SoCar, via a third-party allotment method. SoCar stated that it selected the allottee after considering factors such as investment intent and management objectives. The payment date is July 30, 2026, and the dividend base date for the new shares is January 1, 2026.

■ Use of Funds

The raised funds will be used as operating capital for APEX Mobility. SoCar explained that the decision for this capital increase was made to secure the funds necessary for initial business operations, as APEX Mobility is the dedicated entity responsible for the phased commercialization of autonomous driving services. The funds are scheduled to be utilized for the phased commercialization development of autonomous driving services in 2026.

APEX Mobility is a corporation established in 2026, with its core businesses focusing on the development, supply, and operational services of autonomous driving systems. Its representative is Park Jae-uk.

■ Voting Procedure

The company explained that APEX Mobility is a corporation with capital under 1 billion KRW and therefore does not have a board of directors. Accordingly, a shareholders' meeting resolution was passed to substitute for a board resolution, in accordance with the Commercial Act.

Meanwhile, SoCar's total consolidated assets amounted to 588.095 billion KRW as of the end of 2025.
