VVITH, the next-generation global virtual boy group under Levels, will release their second pre-release digital single, 'The Baddest,' today (31st).
'The Baddest' is a mid-tempo pop track that blends retro drum beats, a funky bassline, and an addictive guitar sound. Dreamy pad sounds and sophisticated R&B sensibilities are added to complete the group's signature relaxed and free mood. The key themes of the music are 'self-confidence' and 'liberation.' The track captures an independent attitude of accepting oneself as is and moving forward with pride, without being bound by others' expectations or conventional standards. In particular, the song illustrates the expanding energy of youth that grows when individuality is respected and solidarity is formed, tracing an emotional journey that begins with 'me,' passes through 'you,' and expands to 'us.' This naturally connects to the group's lore, which follows the members on a journey to find their identity on Earth. The global production lineup also draws attention. Scott Russell Stoddart, who has worked on songs for IVE, NCT DREAM, ILLIT, MONSTA X, and OH MY GIRL, participated in composing and arranging the track, further elevating its musical quality. VVITH is a five-member boy group consisting of Ian, Jayce, Furby, Giryu, and Luan. They are developing an original narrative about leaving their virtual planet 'Novus' and adapting to life on Earth. Showcasing street-look visuals and short-form animations, the group has been receiving passionate interest from global fans even before their official debut. Meanwhile, the audio and lyric video for VVITH's second pre-release digital single, 'The Baddest,' will be released simultaneously worldwide at 6 PM today through various global online music platforms.
