Hanwha Engine announced on the 31st that its provisional consolidated operating profit for the second quarter of 2026 stood at KRW 37.911 billion, up 12.2% from the same period last year.

[Q2 2026 Performance Summary] Revenue for the same period was KRW 362.22 billion, down 6.6% year-on-year, while net income was KRW 33.2 billion, up 54.0%. Compared to the previous quarter, revenue rose 4.9% from KRW 345.239 billion, but operating profit fell 26.2% from KRW 51.379 billion. Profit from continuing operations before income tax expense was KRW 35.863 billion, up 138.3% year-on-year but down 48.1% from the previous quarter.

[First Half (January–June) Cumulative Performance] On a cumulative first-half basis, the company recorded revenue of KRW 707.459 billion and operating profit of KRW 89.29 billion, up 0.2% and 59.2% respectively from the same period last year. Additionally, cumulative net income reached KRW 86.053 billion, an increase of 110.1% compared to the same period last year.

The company stated that these figures are provisional consolidated results prepared in accordance with the Korean International Financial Reporting Standards (K-IFRS). It added that since the data is based on internal closing results that have not yet undergone external audit, the figures may be subject to change during the audit and shareholder approval process. Detailed performance data will be posted on the company's website in the earnings disclosure section at a later date.
