KBS 2TV's new daily drama 'Trap of Desire' is set to premiere on August 10 at 7:50 PM. It is a fierce revenge drama about a woman, falsely accused of murder, who fights against massive desires to reclaim her destiny.

'Trap of Desire' features Jang Seo-hee and Jeon Hye-won at its center, with Yoon Hae-young, Yoo Tae-woong, Jang Se-hyun, Seo Kwon-soon, Choi Jae-won, and Seo Yoo-jung portraying complex relationships among diverse characters. In the drama, Joo Mi-ran (played by Jang Seo-hee) is a former nanny who now serves as the PR director of the 'Cheongma Scholarship Foundation.' She harbors ambitions to seize control of the Cheongma Group by altering someone's fate, creating subtle conflicts and tension through her complicated interests with Chairperson Kim Jung-sun (played by Yoon Hae-young) and CEO Kang Young-hoon (played by Yoo Tae-woong).

Meanwhile, Go Eun-seol (played by Jeon Hye-won) is raised under the care of her adoptive parents Go Gi-han (played by Choi Jae-won) and Park Hee-jung (played by Seo Yoo-jung), as well as her adoptive grandmother Wang Geum-ja (played by Seo Kwon-soon). However, her life is shaken when the secret of her birth is on the verge of being exposed and she is framed for murder due to someone's malicious scheme. The truth behind the incidents that Go Eun-seol and her adoptive parents face together emerges as a key point of the drama.

In the midst of all this, lawyer Seo Hyun-jae (played by Jang Se-hyun) actively protects Go Eun-seol in every crisis. With his cool judgment and sense of justice, he plays an important role as an ally in resolving her unjust ordeal.

The production team stated, "Through the complexly intertwined relationships of characters driven by desire, revenge, lies, and secrets, an unpredictable storyline will unfold." They added, "The process by which each character's backstory and hidden truths are revealed will heighten the drama's tension even further." They also expressed confidence, saying, "The meeting of reliable actors including Jang Seo-hee, Jeon Hye-won, Yoon Hae-young, Yoo Tae-woong, Jang Se-hyun, Seo Kwon-soon, Choi Jae-won, and Seo Yoo-jung will elevate the overall quality of the drama." Meanwhile, 'Trap of Desire' will air as the follow-up to 'Red Pearl.'
