Group KiiiKiii is heightening anticipation for their comeback by releasing the 'SWEET SOUR' concept photos for their 3rd mini album 'WhyKiiiKiii.'
On the 29th, KiiiKiii unveiled the 'Sweet Sour' concept photos for their 3rd mini album 'WhyKiiiKiii,' set for release on August 10, through their official social media and website.
This concept photo is characterized by a storytelling approach utilizing the website. Alongside the 'Sweet Sour' concept photos, the site features writing by author Lee Seul-ah. The text, which evokes the nostalgia of past mini-homepages and internet novels, contains the story of a speaker who steps outside of their ordinary daily life to confide complex emotions and sincere feelings to a friend.
The released photos consist of two different moods. The members showcased bold styling against the backdrop of a vintage shop and rainy streets. Scenes of them wandering in school uniforms while sharing laughter reveal the complex emotions of youth. Additionally, the inst version of 'Sweet Sour' was released alongside the photos, offering a nostalgic touch reminiscent of mini-homepage BGM.
Author Lee Seul-ah, who previously participated in writing lyrics for several of KiiiKiii's songs, joined this project, gathering high expectations from listeners.
Meanwhile, the 3rd mini album 'WhyKiiiKiii,' scheduled for release on August 10, is based on the question 'Why KiiiKiii?' and unfolds a total of six tracks as a 24-hour tour course. The title track has been confirmed as 'Pop Off Pop Off,' and KiiiKiii will kick off their full-scale comeback activities simultaneously with the release of the new album.
