On July 31, the last trading day of the month, NAVER surged, reclaiming the 200,000-won level.

During the regular session that day, NAVER closed at 208,000 won, up 13,300 won (6.83%) from the previous trading day. After falling for three consecutive days from July 28 to 30 and slipping below the 200,000-won mark, the stock rebounded to successfully retake the psychologically important 200,000-won resistance line. With this, NAVER ended the final trading day of July on a strong note.

NAVER's gains were largely driven by improved investor sentiment across the broader domestic stock market. On the same day, both KOSPI and KOSDAQ posted sharp gains. This is interpreted as a result of strong buying flowing into the domestic market as global tech stock investment sentiment improved following a rebound in U.S. tech stocks.

The market is closely watching the direction of the first trading day of August following the weekend. The key question is whether NAVER's upward momentum will continue or whether the stock will enter a consolidation phase. To assess whether the recovery in domestic market investor sentiment can be sustained for the time being, it appears necessary to closely monitor the movements of global stock markets over the weekend.
