SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won has purchased SK Hynix shares on the stock market for the first time, publicly disclosing his new ownership stake.

According to a regulatory filing on the 31st, Chairman Chey acquired 3,620 common shares of SK Hynix on the 30th through an open-market purchase. With this acquisition, Chairman Chey's total holdings in SK Hynix amount to 3,620 shares.

The acquisition price was 1,353,677 won per share. As he held no shares in his previous report, this filing constitutes a new disclosure.

The filing showed that Chairman Chey submitted the "Report on Ownership of Specific Securities, etc. by Officers and Major Shareholders" in his capacity as a non-board director executive (Chairman) of SK Hynix. Both the date the reporting obligation arose and the reference date for the report were listed as July 30, 2026.
